What surface is needed for a graffiti mural?

A mural works best on a smooth wall with a base coat of wall paint (latex) applied. When making a quotation, we always assume that the surface is already in order. In consultation we can also apply the latex for you at an additional cost. A graffiti can also be applied to more rough surfaces, but then we always need a good photo in advance that clearly shows the structure so that we can determine whether it is possible to place a graffiti. When a nice basic color is chosen as a background, the graffiti mural comes into its own and we always recommend this.

How much does a mural cost

We need various information to determine the price of a mural. Such as dimensions of a wall, the surface. The amount of detail also determines the price. More details means that the graffiti artist needs more hours to create the mural. The price for just a logo or a wall-filling painting looks different. That is why we always make a tailor-made price. The design for a mural, how does it work?

A lot is possible with us. Maybe you already have an idea and you want us to develop this design into a beautiful mural for you. But it is also possible that you would like a mural, but really have no idea what it should be. In that case, we will have a conversation together and look carefully at the environment where the painting should be placed. We then take into account the colors in the vicinity of the wall. Your personal taste. The atmosphere and experience around the wall. We can also build something from scratch for companies in, for example, the house style colors. The design is part of the whole process. We are at home in all styles and always have a suitable artist for your mural.

What size wall can you make a mural on?

We come to paint from 10 m2. And there is actually no limit to the size of the wall. We already have very large projects to our name. A wall is never too big for us.

What is the waiting time?

Our schedule is always difficult to predict. It is best to call if it is an urgent job. We will always do our best to complete the job in the shortest possible time.

What materials do you use for a mural?

Due to the quality standard, we always use our own materials. We always use high quality sprayable acrylic paint for murals. When we are commissioned to prime the surface with a latex, we only use quality latex. This is to guarantee the quality of the painting.

Can you also provide an exterior wall with a protective layer after painting?

Absolute. We even recommend this for a mural outside. For this we use an anti-graffiti coating. In this way the painting is protected for at least 10 years. And also protected against any illegal tags. These are also easy to remove.

Our working hours

We work when it suits you. Office hours are of course the easiest for us, but we fully understand that this is very difficult for companies, for example. We are therefore very flexible and are happy to make an appropriate appointment so that we get in the way as few people as possible during the painting process.

How does the payment for the mural work?

As soon as we agree on the design, location and time, MooiMuur will send an invoice for a deposit of 50% of the total invoice. After receipt of the first half, we start our work. As soon as the mural is finished, we will send the invoice for the last half and this must be on our account a maximum of 14 days after the date.
